UAPRN Membership is your Voice
Thank you for joining United Advanced Practice Registered Nurses of Georgia as we are the organization that is responsible for protecting APRN’s across the state and need your support to in order to grow, protect and serve. Remember, we need you as an active member to help our organization grow and remove barriers to APRN practice in the state of Georgia.
Currently we have just over 400 members for the 2008 year but there are over 5,000 APRNs in the state of Georgia. The goal of our non-profit professional association is to have at least 1200 members in 2008.
Helpful Tips to successful UAPRN membership:
- Fill out the application carefully especially your email address!!!
- Fill out only one application.
- Your username and password plus an invitation to yahoo groups will come after paid membership is confirmed. You may print your paypal receipt for membership confirmation in order to bring to local meetings.
- Note that $60 of your membership is tax deductible as UAPRN is a non-profit organization. $25 plus any extra for our legislative efforts are not tax deductible.
- The membership directory is updated the first of each month.
- Note that regardless of when you join UAPRN your membership expires Dec 31st of your membership year.
- If someone other than the new or renewing member is paying via paypal please e-mail our secretary (uaprnsecretary@hotmail.com) and let her know that payment and membership have a different name so that she can match them up.
